Things to do on the Outer Banks July 25-31

Where has the Summer gone? I can’t believe I am writing about the last week of events for July. As we say goodbye to July, we welcome cooler temperatures, warmer ocean waters, and still the beautiful beaches we all know. Here is a list of some events going on during this week on the Outer Banks.

Nightly l Roanoke Island, NC
Taking place on the most mysterious island, over 100 actors, technicians, designers and volunteers come together every Summer to honor the brave people who came to build a new country. From the costumes, to the music, to the performances on the enormous stage, you will leave amazed. Family friendly. Show begins at 8PM.

July 25 l Duck Town Park
What better way to end your awesome day at the beach than by getting the family together and watching an outdoor movie as the sun sinks down over the sound? This weeks movie is Smurfs 2. The best part about it, it’s FREE! So pack a blanket and a chair and head to the Duck Town Park for Smurfs 2 this Friday.

July 29 l Duck Town Green
Start your day off right with Yoga on the Duck Town Green. Stretch every muscle as the sun rises up over the ocean to the sound of birds chirping. Duck Village Yoga hosts this free yoga class at 7:30AM and welcomes students of all yoga levels. Class is typically around 45 minutes and everyone is asked to bring a yoga mat/beach towel. Don’t forget the H2O!

July 31 l Duck Town Park
At the beautiful venue of the Duck Ampitheatre, John Email is performing as part of the Duck Summer Concert Series. Show starts at 6:30PM. This is family friendly welcomes everyone in the family to come. The ampitheatre does no require chairs, but feel free to bring a blanket and a cooler.

July 26-27 l Nags Head, NC
This OBX Sup Series is presented by Farmdog Surf School, located on the beach road in Nags Head. This Summer series is on a mission to advance stand-up paddle boarding fun on the Outer Banks. They welcome all levels of stand up paddle boarders. Registration is $25 and a portion of proceeds benefit the Nags Head Ocean Rescue and Surfrider Foundation teams.

July 30 l Scarborough Faire Shopping Village
Scarborough Faire Shopping Village presents Faire Days outdoor Summer festival series every Wednesday afternoon for the entire summer. Each week your family can enjoy free live music and much more in the cool shade of our magnificent tree-lined courtyard commons in the heart of Duck NC.
