This week on the Outer Banks is going to be filled to the brim with fun, family friendly activities!  Weather forecasts are calling for warm temperatures again and only a small chance of rain in the start of the week.  Below are my picks for events this week that can’t be missed!

The Movies on the Sound series continues, this month has been at the town green in Duck, NC.  What’s on the big screen this week?  Friday, July 18th at 7:00pm is a showing of the Lego Movie!  See the whole schedule and read more about Movies on the Sound right here.

wright-kite-festivalWright Kite Festival

You heard right!  The annual Wright Kite Festival is this weekend at the Wright Brother’s National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC.  Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, the event features larger than life kites, stunt kites, children’s attractions, and FREE  kite making at the museum.  Read more about the event here.

Start your Tuesday morning off the right way with a good dose of Yoga on the town green in Duck, NC!  Stretching begins around 7:30am and goes for approximately one hour.
