This Month on the Outer Banks: December (Part 2)

Celebrate the 116th Anniversary of the Wright Brother's First Flight this Tuesday at the Wright Brother's National Memorial. Events include music by the First Flight High School band, descendant remarks, and the Wright Brother's Story! Come out for a day of remembering the past and looking forward to the future. Dinner With Santa

Help Santa double check his list this year by taking the kids to eat dinner with him. We invite you to visit Santa and enjoy the beautiful lights throughout the Elizabethan Gardens. Advanced reservations are required. Click here to purchase tickets. If you plan on going to the 6:30pm dinner session, there will be time to enjoy the lights after dinner. Thank You Santa at Winter Lights

Don't miss your chance to let Santa know how grateful you are for the gifts you received this year. Santa chose the Elizabethan Gardens as this year's official collector of thank you notes for Santa. Make sure to submit your letter by 9:00pm to ensure that it arrives at the North Pole by the next day. Admission to the Winter Lights is required. Tickets will be sold at the door until 8:15pm. Old Farts New Year's Eve

Too tired and worn out from all the hectic holiday stress to stay up and celebrate the New Year? No worries, Pangea Tavern has just the party for you. Join the Pangea Tavern in celebrating the New Year with an anchor drop at 10:00pm instead of midnight. Great Gatsby New Year's Eve Party

Make sure to show up in your finest glitz and glam Golden Age clothing or in your killer New Years Eve outfit. There is a $10 cover per person. New Year in the New World

Celebrate the new year with an explosion of fun. Live music will begin at 5:00pm with DJ Mixin' Mike and continue at 8:00pm with Formula. After the music, join Urban Soil at 10:00pm for Dancing Through the Decades NYE 2019. At midnight, watch the fireworks over the water as they ring in the new decade. New York Pizza Pub 2020 New Year's Eve Celebration

Join the New York Pizza Pub in ringing in the new year with food, live music, and much, much more. In true NYE spirit, a balloon drop and champagne toast are scheduled for midnight. However, drink specials will be available until 2:00am! In addition, there will be a photo booth on sight to capture the memories made on the last night of the decade. Tickets are required. General admission tickets are $10 and VIP tickets are $45. The up charge for VIP tickets includes an AYCE Buffet from 8:00pm - 10:00pm, a private bar, table service, and a free ride home! (2217 S.
