This is probably one of the nicer homes that we stayed in on any vacation and we’re very happy and would recommend it in the future. We like that everything we could possibly need was at the house, including beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, corn hole boards and anything inside the house that we could possibly think that we would need.

Unit was exactly as described. I questioned the quality of the games/puzzles/books, but the amount and quality were wonderful. Didn’t need what I brought. Had all kitchen essentials and more. Very happy with the house.

We love the updated towels and sheets, thank you !!! This makes a big difference. The upgrade to the master shower is gorgeous, you did a fantastic job with color selection, design, shower, handles etc. The whole bathroom renovation is amazing. Thank you for a well equipped kitchen. We would love the addition of a Cuisinart so I could make pesto with all the herbs we pickup at Grandy’s Farm Market. We love your home and feel very welcome there. We are also grateful we can bring our doggies too. We appreciate spending vacation week with them—lots of dog walks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We loved our stay at Saltwater Gospel. The home was generously stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had every gadget, pot, pan and utensil you could imagine. We were delighted to find beach chairs (the rental listing didn't mention them) as well as other items for the beach. Terrific location to the beach and Duck! Absolutely loved the pool and hot tub and the evening view in the backyard with all the trees lit up! The pool seemed to lose water even though we had the hose running into it (maintenance man suggested there might be a leak) and the hot tub cover could be replaced as it was ripped and plastic shavings would flake off into the water. Loved having a gas grill vs charcoal

By far one of the best equipped rentals we have stayed in. The kitchen was well set up with quality kitchenware. Also this house had the most usable beach chairs and toys ever. Awesome location and thank you for letting us bring our pooches!

This house was excellent, much too large for the space we needed, but it was the only one available with a pool that allowed a dog. It was great to have so much space, and the house was very well equipped.

Let me start by saying that Saltwater Gospel was a pleasant surprise. Although the house is advertised as pet friendly, it was clean and didn't smell. The only evidence of prior pets was scratches on lower windows and multiple stains on the carpets. The light in the bunk room fell from the ceiling and shattered and there was a wasp nest in the Northeast corner of the hot tub. Happily a service tech was there a short time later to address both issues. This was our 15th year at OBX, having stayed at much more expensive houses (many in Four Seasons) and this was one of the most enjoyable. We'd return to Saltwater Gospel.
