Surfrider is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. Surfrider’s Outer Banks Chapter has tackled issues such as water quality and offshore energy while working to give back to the community through scholarship programs, events, and beach cleanups.
