Long-Term Rental Manager

Southern Shores Realty is seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Rental Manager to help manage our long-term rental program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in long-term property management operations, ensure tenant satisfaction, and optimize rental income. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to property management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of long-term rental properties, including tenant relations, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
• Screen prospective tenants, conduct background checks, and coordinate lease signings
• Ensure properties are well-maintained, conducting regular inspections and coordinating repairs or upgrades as needed
• Enforce lease terms and handle tenant disputes or issues professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of rental income, expenses, and tenant information
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery 
• Stay informed about local rental laws, regulations, and market trends to ensure compliance and optimize rental strategies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have an active NC Real Estate License
• Proven experience in property management or real estate, particularly with long-term rentals
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of local rental laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to handle tenant issues with professionalism and tact
• Proficiency in Streamline (or other property management software) as well as Excel and Word 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
