Year Round Maintenance Tech
Southern Shores Realty is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of our vacation rental homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are always in excellent condition and ready for guests. This is a full-time/year-round position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of vacation rental homes to identify maintenance needs
- Perform general maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with appliances, equipment, and systems
- Coordinate with property management team to schedule repairs and maintenance
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with maintenance team to address any maintenance concerns or issues
Requirements:
- Experience in general maintenance and repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with appliances, equipment, and systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work weekends
- Experience with Streamline VRS is a plus

Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor
Southern Shores Realty is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our vacation rental homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This is a full-time year-round position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards
- Inspect homes to ensure that they are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that any repairs or maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work weekends
- Experience with Streamline VRS and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
