Movies on The Sound

June 27 marks the last movie in Nags Head, NC this summer for the Movies on the Sound series. This week's showing: Mary Poppins! Take the whole fam and pack the car for only $10 at the Outer Banks Event Site (6800 S. Coratan HWY).  The series moves to Duck, NC starting July 11, 2014.

Whalehead Wine Festival

On Wednesday, June 25, head up to the Currituck Heritage Park and Whalehead Club to get your wine on!  Channel your inner Wino from 3pm-7pm with a bevy of samples and tastings for only $25.  Local vintners will be present so you can get a true taste for the region.

Brew Thru Concert Series

Thursday, June 26 kicks off the 2014 BrewThru Summer Concert Series with a performance by Bruce Hornsby!  No, this is not a joke like our Michael Bolton escapade of April Fool's Day.  The concert takes place at Roanoke Island Festival Park and tickets can be purchased here.

Duck Summer Concert Series

Starting on this week through August 21, the Town of Duck hosts an annual concert series on the town green.  Bring a blanket and chairs out this week to enjoy the musical stylings of Sean Olds and The Church of the Eternal.  The show is from 6:30pm-8:00pm.  For more details visit www.townofduck.com/duck-events-calendar/.  This is a free event for the public!
